LIVE SAT FEED

Stand by.
Live loop idle.
Select Live Satellite Recon or tap RECON to arm the day/night loop.
GOES and Himawari motion auto-switch by region while high zoom stays locked to the Esri image base.

MAP SETTINGS

Street imagery, recon, X-ray, and conflict overlays can now be armed from the same settings drawer across every base layer, and the globe now mirrors the same recon, plant, conflict, and structure intel where a 3D equivalent exists.

Tac View Stack
Open the map layer button for the Topo Portfolio and Tactical Stack: Live Satellite Recon with animated day/night motion, Land Nav Training HD, World Hillshade Reference, OpenTopoMap HD, World Topo HD, NatGeo Terrain, USGS Topo, and USGS Imagery + Topo.
Tac profiles sync the toolbar and the drawer together, and the layer button now opens a Topo Portfolio with Land Nav Training HD, World Hillshade Reference, and USGS Topo. Live Satellite Recon now runs an animated day/night feed by region. The plant overlay scans public OSM tags for nuclear, chemical, and gas facilities in the current view.
3D Intel & Scripture
3D globe uses the open-source CesiumJS integration pattern from the CesiumGS GitHub project. Global Threat Map style layers now add military bases, nuclear sites, live USGS earthquakes, recon labels, plant intel, conflict zones, and optional auto-pan on both the Tac Map and 3D globe while Cesium lighting gives you a day/night split. Cesium now idles between renders for faster movement, and X-ray building scans reuse the same public structure footprints in 2D and 3D. Scripture hotspots only map defensible locations; Book of Mormon and 1 Enoch textual intel notes stay in the legend when geography is disputed or not geocoded.
Street & Offline Support
No offline map pack saved yet.
Modes idle. Street imagery off.

ROUTE PLANNING

Public airfields, helipads, roads, waterways, and custom off-road sketches for civilian and emergency logistics planning.

Waypoint List
No typed waypoints in this route.
Saved Routes
No named route slots stored in this browser.
Weather assist idle. Select start and end points to estimate ETA.
Awaiting plan.
Set a start and end point, or load the sandbox route to preview the logistics estimator.

MGRS MAPPER SYMBOLS

MGRS-Mapper inspired NATO / APP-6 workflow: preview a unit, drop it on the tactical map, drag it, and keep live MGRS plus UTM in every popup.

MILSYMBOL PREVIEW
Awaiting symbol render.
Preview a NATO unit, then arm placement or drop it at map center.
Built with the open-source milsymbol library and patterned after MGRS-Mapper's draggable unit workflow. Each placed symbol carries live latitude, longitude, MGRS, and UTM readouts.

CONFLICT LEGEND

Active War Zone
Armed Conflict
Insurgency / Terror
Tensions / Disputed

STRUCTURE INTEL

Public building footprints and tags
Levels and height when mapped
Zoom 15+ scan, 18+ HD assist

PLANT INTEL

Nuclear power facilities
Chemical plants / works
Gas-fired power facilities
Overlay idle. Enable Plants.

JESUS GROUND TRACK

Overlay idle. Enable Jesus Ground Track in Settings.

LAND NAVIGATION GUIDE

Professional field workflow for precise location capture using live latitude / longitude, grid, kilometers, and meters.

Current Latitude -- Record all 6 decimals for the map's highest coordinate precision.
Current Longitude -- Capture longitude with the same 6-digit discipline as latitude.
Current MGRS -- Use the full MGRS string for radio-friendly grids and target handoffs.
Current UTM -- Zone, easting, and northing give you a full UTM lock for cross-system handoffs.

Field Flow
  1. Center the target under the crosshair or stop the cursor on the exact point you want to capture.
  2. Record latitude and longitude together, then log the MGRS and UTM readouts as backup references.
  3. Use the measure tool or the azimuth worksheet for route legs: kilometers for movement over 1 km, meters for the final 1000 m and final offset.
  4. Push the same point into GOTO, bookmarks, or PLANNING so the exact location stays reusable inside Tac Map.
MGRS / UTM Entry

The GOTO panel now accepts full grid strings so you can lock the map from a radio call or route sheet. Accepted examples: 11S MT 12345 67890 or 11S 412345 3767890.

Azimuth / Route Leg Worksheet

Live leg analysis prioritizes PLAN START to PLAN END, then the active target against map center, then the last measured segment.

Awaiting route leg Capture a target, plan start/end, or measure two points to compute a live leg.
-- Leg distance
-- True bearing
-- Back azimuth
-- Final endpoint
Set an azimuth and distance to project a new point from the selected origin.
Decimal Precision Reference

Latitude spacing stays consistent; longitude spacing tightens as you move away from the equator. Use this map's 6-decimal readout when you need the most precise notation.

0.001 deg ~ 111 m Use for coarse terrain association only.
0.0001 deg ~ 11 m Useful for building, road, or vehicle-sized targets.
0.00001 deg ~ 1.1 m Good for precise checkpoints and handoff points.
0.000001 deg ~ 0.11 m Use the full readout when you want the tightest coordinate notation available on this page.
